A. Jones is winner of over 40 art show awards including the blue ribbon
for drawing at the 2008 Royal Queensland Show, Best Exhibit at
the 2008 Gold Coast Show and Most Outstanding Work at 2009 Yakkerboo Art Festival in Melbourne.
The focus of this workshop will be 'Secrets of drawing and
sketching freehand'. The Graphite Workshop
finishes before the Artists' Workshops start and improving your sketching technique would be a useful

Chaplin is a roving performer who surprises
with his unexpected and comical movements. He performs in the Queen
Street Mall and at other festivals. From
11am Sat. The Phoenix Firetribe Stilt Walkers,
who have been entertaining crowds throughout Australia for the last ten
years. They create a magical atmosphere with their unique wearable-art
style costumes and a diverse range of characters. From 11am Sun. Brett
Campbell - Singer/songwriter Brett Campbell
is a founding member of such amusingly titled Brisbands as "Don't Feed
the Animals" and "Sick Little Puppies" as well as more serious projects
such as "The Kemenys". Brett is equally at home playing to 5 year olds
as he is to 50 year olds and all in between. Since 2006 Brett has
released 2 Children's albums - "BC" and "Purple Cow". See Brett's

From 11am Sun. The Noosa and District Pipe Band
wears the Ancient Macdonald tartan reflecting its ties to the heartland
of the Noosa hinterland at Lake Macdonald that was named after Clr. Ian
Macdonald who died during his service as Shire Chairman. From 12am Sat. The Bollywood Dancers
are Sandeep and Anu, who enjoy bringing the popular dance form of
Bollywood Dancing to festivals in and around Brisbane. Bollywood Dance
is from the Hindi film industry and is predominantly a fusion of Indian
dance styles. The dances are very vibrant and energetic with colourful
costumes and upbeat music. Come and watch Sandeep and Anu on Saturday
26 September at 11.30am and see why this dance form is attracting
interest around the world.
From 11.30am Sat. Pip the Face Painter
has lived in the Kenilworth area for almost 20 years and started face painting about six years ago. She paints many children (and some adults) faces at Festivals and Shows in the Mary Valley area. Pip looks forward to seeing you at the Festival. She will be in the Kenilworth Park so come and have your face painted.
