Opening the Kenilworth Celebrates! Festival -
Peter Wellington, State member for Nicklin, opens the Festival. Some shortlisted entries in the Kenilworth Art Prize form the backdrop.

The LGI Trophy Prize -
Winner of the LGI $2000 Prize and Trophy was Mal Hunter with his Still Life entry, Grandad's Chair.

Poets' Breakfast -

This live demonstation of chainsaw art by Rod Sheehan produced some impressive sculptures.

The Kenilworth Artists' Workshops -
Ten well known tutors each provided four-day workshops for novice and experienced artists. John Newman's workshop group hard at work.

Street Band Carnival entertaining around the Town.

The Festival Markets -
The weekend markets included these clothing and textile stalls.

The Orchestral Concert and Dinner -
The
Sunday afternoon concert by the Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra at the historic Kenilworth Homestead, followed by the Concert Dinner. Conductor Adrian King with solo flautist Ian Edwards on the left.
